Weekly shot shows promise in fight against obesity

Summary
This study tested a new weekly injection called petrelintide to see if it helps people with obesity or overweight lose weight. Nearly 500 participants received either the drug or a placebo (dummy shot) along with a reduced-calorie diet and exercise for about 10 months. The main goal was to find the best dose for weight loss and check how safe it is.
