Weekly shot could replace daily growth hormone for short kids

NCT ID NCT07221851

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests if a once-weekly growth hormone injection works as well as a daily one in children with short stature due to Turner syndrome, SHOX deficiency, being small at birth, or unknown causes. About 186 children will receive either the weekly or daily treatment for up to 2 years. The goal is to see if the weekly option can improve height growth with fewer injections.
