Summary
This study tested a weekly combination of two chemotherapy drugs (cisplatin and irinotecan) along with radiation therapy for people with locally advanced esophageal cancer. The main goal was to see how many patients had no detectable tumor after treatment. The study also looked at side effects and how long patients lived. 43 people took part in this phase 2 trial.
