Can a website help people with health issues pick safer birth control?
NCT ID NCT07075536
Summary
This study is testing whether a web-based tool called 'My Health, My Choice' helps people with chronic health conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure) understand and choose birth control options that are safer for their specific health situation. Researchers will compare people who use the tool before a doctor's visit to those who receive usual care, tracking whether the tool increases birth control use and helps people select medically appropriate methods. The study involves 795 participants across 14 US clinics who will complete brief surveys over 3 months.
