New tablet tests could spot hidden stroke side effect
NCT ID NCT07538076
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to see if two new web-based tests (star cancellation and line bisection) can accurately detect visuospatial neglect—a condition where stroke survivors ignore one side of space. About 105 adults who had a stroke will take both digital and traditional paper versions of the tests. Researchers will compare results to determine if the digital tools are reliable and provide extra insights.
