First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether a web-based program can help people who have had a heart attack better manage their health and avoid future heart problems. About 864 participants are randomly assigned to either the web program or usual care. The program includes tracking things like blood pressure and activity, online lessons, and regular contact with a prevention assistant. Some participants also learn their genetic risk for heart problems to see if it boosts motivation.
