Can your genes and a smartphone stop another heart attack?
NCT ID NCT04143646
Summary
This study is testing a web-based program designed to help people who have just had a heart attack prevent another one. 864 participants are randomly assigned to either use this special program or receive their usual care. The program includes tracking health data, educational lessons, and coaching. For some in the program, it also tests whether telling patients their genetic risk for heart problems motivates them to improve their health.
