Wristbands and light hats: a new hope for Alzheimer's sleep troubles?
NCT ID NCT07222449
Summary
This study aims to see if wearable technology can help manage sleep and daily rhythm problems in people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will first check if patients can comfortably use activity-tracking wristbands. Then, they will test if a special wearable light therapy device can improve sleep quality and related symptoms. The goal is to find non-drug ways to ease these common and distressing issues for patients and their caregivers.
