Electric suit offers hope for stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07459361

Summary

This study is testing a special full-body suit that delivers mild electrical stimulation to see if it can quickly reduce muscle stiffness (spasticity) and improve movement in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will compare 26 participants wearing the active suit to others wearing a suit with minimal stimulation. The goal is to measure immediate changes in stiffness, pain, walking, and hand function after just one hour of use.
