Smart watches could soon warn athletes when their brain is tired
NCT ID NCT07323810
Summary
This study aims to create a new way to spot mental fatigue using wearable sensors, like those in smartwatches. Researchers will have 30 healthy, experienced runners complete mental tasks and a 5km run while wearing devices that track heart rate, breathing, and eye movements. The goal is to see if these body signals can predict when mental tiredness is about to hurt physical performance.
