First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether showing cancer survivors real-time glucose data from a wearable sensor can motivate them to exercise more. Sixty cancer survivors at high risk for type 2 diabetes wore activity trackers and continuous glucose monitors. The goal was to see if seeing the immediate impact of exercise on their blood sugar would encourage them to stay active.
