First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a wearable device that gently stimulates a nerve in the wrist (called PC6) can prevent nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic surgery. It involves 302 women aged 18-65 who are having elective laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia. The goal is to see if using the device before, during, and after surgery reduces the chance of feeling sick in the first 24 hours after the operation.
