Smartwatch heart coach: can a wearable boost recovery from home?

NCT ID NCT07322510

Summary

This study is testing if adding a medical-grade smartwatch to a virtual heart rehab program helps patients improve their health more than the program alone. About 216 people with heart disease will join the 13-week virtual coaching program. Some will wear the watch daily, allowing their care team to monitor their progress remotely, while others will follow the program without it, to see which approach works better.
