Smart belt could track bladder health at home, no needles needed
NCT ID NCT07357012
First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a new wearable device that uses harmless electrical signals to monitor how well the bladder empties in men with an enlarged prostate. The device is worn on the lower belly and aims to replace inconvenient clinic-based urine flow tests. Forty participants will use the device alongside standard tests to see if it works accurately. If successful, it could allow doctors to track bladder function over time, even from home.
