First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares a new self-cured bioactive filling material to a standard one for treating deep cavities in back teeth. Twenty-five patients with two decayed molars will receive one of each filling. Researchers will measure how well the fillings resist wear over two years and whether they help increase mineral density under the filling, which may support tooth health.
