Summary
This study tested two methods of weaning patients from a breathing machine: automatic tube compensation and pressure support ventilation. Fifty adults with respiratory failure who were ready to try breathing on their own took part. The goal was to see which method improved oxygen levels and breathing patterns better, helping doctors choose the best approach for successful weaning.
