Summary

This study looks at whether eating fresh watermelon every day for 6 weeks can improve gut health, including helpful bacteria, and heart health in young adults ages 18-30 who are overweight or obese. Participants will either eat watermelon or a low-fat snack. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria, blood pressure, cholesterol, and body composition.
