Steam treatment trial aims to zap prostate cancer while sparing function

Summary
This study is testing whether a device that uses water vapor (steam) can safely and effectively treat intermediate-risk prostate cancer. It will involve 400 men with early-stage cancer to see if the treatment can control the disease while preserving urinary control and sexual function. The main goal is to see if patients remain free from needing stronger treatments like hormone therapy or surgery afterward.
