NCT ID NCT06651632

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares a new water-jet treatment (Aquablation) to standard surgical removal of the prostate (radical prostatectomy) in 280 men with localized prostate cancer. The goal is to see if Aquablation causes less urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction while still controlling the cancer. Participants are followed for up to 10 years.
