Summary
This study compares a simple sterile water injection into the skin with intravenous morphine for relieving severe kidney stone pain. 150 adults with confirmed stones and high pain levels will receive either one or four water injections or morphine. Pain is measured over 90 minutes to see if the water approach works as well as the drug.
