Summary
This study tested three types of Sawyer water filters in nearly 10,000 households in Mexico to see which was best at preventing diarrhea and other illnesses from dirty water. Researchers tracked how often families got sick and measured the economic impact of having clean water. The goal was to find the most effective and practical filter to recommend for future clean water projects.
