Heart device registry aims to prevent strokes in atrial fibrillation patients
NCT ID NCT07262255
Summary
This European registry is collecting real-world safety and performance data on the WATCHMAN FLX Pro device, which is implanted to help prevent strokes in people with atrial fibrillation. It will track about 1,000 patients who receive the device, including a smaller group using a newer access tool called VersaCross Connect. The main goal is to monitor serious complications like death, stroke, or bleeding within the first week after the procedure.
