NCT ID NCT05567172
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at how tissue grows over the WATCHMAN FLX Pro device after it is placed in the heart to prevent strokes in people with atrial fibrillation. Researchers used CT scans and echocardiograms to check for thickening on the device surface at 14 days, 45 days, and 3 months. The goal was to see if any tissue changes relate to health events. 43 adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who needed the implant took part.
