Warm gas in surgery could ease Patients' pain

NCT ID NCT05934981

Summary

This study is testing if using warm, humidified carbon dioxide gas during keyhole colon surgery helps patients feel less pain after the operation. It will compare this approach to using standard cold, dry gas. The goal is to see if the warm gas leads to less pain 24 hours after surgery without needing strong painkillers, and may help people recover faster.
