First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether soaking feet in warm water for 20 minutes before pituitary tumor surgery could lower anxiety and improve vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate. One hundred adult patients participated, with half receiving the foot bath and half receiving standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free approach could help patients feel more relaxed before their operation.
