Can two minutes of wall squats three times a week tame high blood pressure?
NCT ID NCT06510998
Summary
This study is testing if a simple wall squat exercise program can help lower high blood pressure in Chinese adults who don't get enough physical activity. 390 participants with high blood pressure will be randomly assigned to either do wall squats or stretching exercises for 24 weeks, with their blood pressure monitored for a full year. The goal is to see if this specific type of exercise can be an effective, non-drug method for blood pressure control.
