Sideways steps to stop senior stumbles

NCT ID NCT07463924

Summary

This study tested whether practicing walking sideways and backward could help older adults improve their balance, reduce their fear of falling, and strengthen their legs. Researchers worked with 41 volunteers aged 65 and older who did not have serious health conditions affecting balance. The goal was to see if this specific training could make daily activities safer and help prevent falls.
