Walking speed may reveal hidden mobility risks in seniors
NCT ID NCT07562919
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how walking speed relates to strength, balance, and mobility in people aged 65 and older. Researchers will compare two groups—those with slower walking speeds (0.4–0.8 m/s) and those with faster speeds (above 0.8 m/s)—to see how these differences affect daily function. The goal is to better understand aging and help identify those who may need extra support.
