Safe walking machine tested to keep elderly cancer patients moving in hospital
NCT ID NCT03473652
Summary
This study tested whether a special walking platform, designed to prevent falls and help with standing, is a practical way to keep elderly cancer patients active while they are in the hospital. Researchers wanted to see if patients aged 70 and older would use the platform for at least two short walking sessions during their stay. The main goal was to check if this approach is feasible and safe for this group of patients.
