Can daily texts get caregivers walking? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT06803797
Summary
This 12-week study is testing whether personalized text messages can help caregivers for people with Alzheimer's or dementia build a daily walking habit. The goal is for caregivers to walk at least 1,000 steps during a specific hour each day for seven days in a row. Researchers want to see if this text-based support helps make walking an automatic, regular part of their routine to improve their health.
