Can a custom step count be your key to weight loss?
NCT ID NCT07221279
Summary
This study aims to create a personalized walking plan to help manage weight and improve heart health. Researchers will recruit 200 overweight or obese adults to first find the link between daily steps, body fat, and health markers. Then, they will test if a custom step goal, based on a person's current body fat, leads to predictable weight loss and health improvements over eight months while participants eat as they normally do.
