Simple walking program tested to fight debilitating lupus fatigue
NCT ID NCT07481214
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, home-based walking program using a pedometer could help reduce the severe fatigue often experienced by people with lupus. Researchers enrolled 101 adults with lupus and moderate-to-severe fatigue, randomly assigning them to either start the walking program immediately or wait 21 weeks. The goal was to see if gradually increasing daily steps could improve fatigue and other quality of life measures like pain, sleep, and mood.
