Walking away from COPD symptoms: simple steps to better breathing and mood

NCT ID NCT07185659

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a walking exercise program can help people with COPD feel less anxious, depressed, and short of breath, and improve their sleep and quality of life. About 68 adults with COPD will either do walking and resistance band exercises for three months or just wear a smart bracelet to track steps and sleep. The goal is to see if adding exercise to standard care makes a real difference in how patients feel day-to-day.
