Can a Walk-and-Think routine clear brain fog for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07396779
Summary
This study is testing whether adding simple mental tasks to a walking routine is more helpful than walking alone for older adults experiencing 'brain fog'—feelings of mental cloudiness or poor concentration. About 90 participants aged 65+ will be randomly assigned to either walk while doing counting or word games, or to just walk, three times a week for four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in thinking skills, mood, sleep, and overall quality of life to see which approach works better.
