Can your walking boot be used again? study tests reuse safety to cut medical waste
NCT ID NCT07287969
Summary
This study aims to find out if certain parts of walking boots can be safely cleaned and reused for different patients recovering from foot or ankle injuries. Researchers will enroll 60 patients to check for skin problems and see how many times boot parts can be reused before they fail. The goal is to gather evidence to support reusable medical equipment, reduce waste, and lower costs.
