A quick walk could fix a common diabetes mistake
NCT ID NCT06686329
Summary
This study is testing if a short, brisk walk can help control blood sugar when someone with type 1 diabetes takes their mealtime insulin late. Researchers are enrolling 30 young adults to see if combining a 15-minute walk with a late insulin dose works better than the late dose alone. The goal is to find a simple, practical strategy to prevent dangerous high blood sugar after a common daily error.
