Summary

This study tested a new program called Walk Together, designed to help African American patients and their family members work as a team to manage high blood pressure. The program was adapted from a proven approach and tested in a primary care setting with 62 participants. The main goal was to see if the program was practical and well-liked, not to measure blood pressure changes directly.
