New drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called VT3989, both alone and in combination with other cancer therapies. It aims to find a safe dose and see if it can help control advanced solid tumors and mesothelioma that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The trial will enroll about 336 adults whose cancer has spread or cannot be surgically removed.
