New eye drop tested to stop allergy itch and redness
NCT ID NCT04622345
Summary
This study tested whether a new eye drop called VSJ-110 is safe and works better than a placebo (a dummy treatment with no medicine) at relieving the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies). Researchers gave the drops to 47 adult volunteers and then triggered their allergies in a controlled setting to measure how well the medicine reduced eye itching and redness. The goal was to see if this potential new treatment could provide faster or better relief from common allergy symptoms.
