Video game therapy fights falls in older adults
NCT ID NCT07322861
Summary
This study tests whether a virtual reality exercise program is better than traditional physiotherapy at improving balance and preventing falls in adults aged 45 and older who have fallen before or have balance problems. Participants will do either VR-based exercises or standard balance training twice a week for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in frailty, number of falls, balance, and mobility to see which approach works better and is more engaging.
