First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares using virtual reality (VR) eyewear plus a standard teaching method (Show-Do) against the Show-Do method alone to reduce dental anxiety in 54 hearing-impaired children during a teeth cleaning. The children's anxiety and behavior will be measured using heart rate and special scales. The goal is to find a better, drug-free way to help these children feel calm and cooperate at the dentist.
