Virtual reality vs. muscle relaxation: which better calms anxious heart patients?
NCT ID NCT06215066
Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) or a muscle relaxation technique works better to reduce anxiety and improve focus in patients recovering in a cardiac care unit. Researchers compared 158 patients who received either VR sessions or guided relaxation exercises. The goal was to see which method helped patients feel calmer and less distracted by their hospital environment.
