Can video game walking stop dementia? new study tests VR treadmills
NCT ID NCT07223905
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality treadmill program can help older adults who show early signs of dementia risk. Ten participants will complete 18 training sessions over six weeks, either using a VR treadmill or a regular treadmill. Researchers want to see if combining walking with mental challenges improves both movement and thinking skills more than walking alone.
