VR treadmill trial aims to help stroke survivors walk and think better

Summary
This study tests whether adding multisensory virtual reality to treadmill training helps stroke patients improve their leg movement and thinking skills. Forty adults who had a first stroke and can walk with minor help will be randomly assigned to either VR-enhanced treadmill training or treadmill training alone. The main goal is to see if the VR group shows better motor recovery in the legs.
