See yourself move: VR uses Patients' own 3D videos to fight Parkinson's slowness
NCT ID NCT07250672
Summary
This study is testing a new virtual reality (VR) training method to help people with Parkinson's disease move faster and more easily. Participants will watch 3D videos of themselves performing movements while wearing a VR headset, with the goal of improving their own movement speed and coordination. The research aims to see if this personalized, immersive training is more effective than standard methods for managing a key symptom of Parkinson's called bradykinesia (slowness of movement).
