Virtual reality glasses tested to help MS patients regain arm control

NCT ID NCT06107023

Summary

This study tested whether a special training method using 3D virtual reality (VR) could help people with multiple sclerosis (MS) improve their arm and hand function. Thirty-two participants with recent MS attacks watched videos of arm movements through VR headsets and then practiced those movements. Researchers measured changes in arm strength, coordination, fatigue, thinking skills, and quality of life to see if the VR training was helpful.
