VR goggles help caregivers see through dementia
NCT ID NCT06072274
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) experience could help people caring for someone with dementia. 227 caregivers were randomly assigned to either try a VR simulation of what dementia feels like or attend a traditional lecture. Researchers measured if the VR experience improved caregivers' understanding, attitudes, and stress levels compared to the lecture.
