Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) training could help deaf and hard-of-hearing students learn vocational skills better than traditional methods. 48 students aged 17-20 with profound hearing loss participated in a 6-week program using 360-degree VR simulations of hotel settings. The goal was to see if VR, with sign language and text cues, improved their practical knowledge and confidence for jobs in hospitality.
