VR goggles could make colonoscopies less sedating

NCT ID NCT06349564

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether wearing virtual reality goggles during colonoscopy or upper endoscopy procedures can help patients need less sedative medication. Researchers want to see if the VR distraction improves comfort, increases satisfaction, and shortens recovery time. The study involves about 10 patients aged 21-65 who are already scheduled for these procedures.
