VR goggles let cataract patients 'Experience' surgery beforehand to calm nerves

Summary

This study tests whether letting cataract surgery patients watch a virtual reality (VR) simulation of the procedure beforehand can reduce their anxiety during the real surgery. Sixty participants will wear VR glasses to see and hear what happens during the operation. The goal is to help patients feel more relaxed and cooperative during the actual surgery.
